The existing 5 000 t/d new dry-process cement production line at Gezhouba Jiayu Cement Co., Ltd. is equipped with an HMMC224-2*10 bag filter, which controls dust emissions at ≤30 mg/m³ but suffers from high operational resistance, with the maximum inlet-outlet pressure differential reaching approximately 1 550 Pa. To comply with national environmental requirements, the company carried out a renovation of the kiln tail bag filter during the annual maintenance period in early 2025. This article introduces the modifications made to the filter, cleaning chamber, and filter bags. After the renovation, the overall maintenance of the filter became more convenient, air leakage was reduced, and there was no water accumulation or corrosion. The upgraded filter’s air volume meets the exhaust gas treatment capacity after the production increase (to 6 200 t/d), with an operational resistance of less than 1 000 Pa and dust emissions below 10 mg/m³. This achieves ultra-low dust emissions, fulfilling both environmental and production requirements. |
