| President Xi Jinping’s new carbon emission reduction target not only reflects China's active role as a major country to make more contributions to addressing global climate change, but also fully demonstrates our confidence and strength as a frontier country in the global energy revolution. As a country with the fastest development of new energy in the world, my country currently ranks first in the world in terms of installed capacity of new energy, standing at the commanding heights of the global technological and industrial revolution. New energy is another industry leading the world after 5G. In the next ten years, solar energy will become the world's largest primary energy source. The proposal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals brings new opportunities for the development of new energy, and will comprehensively promote the development of green and low-carbon new energy technologies, especially wind power and photovoltaics will be important directions for the development of the new energy industry in the future. |
